End of Summer 2025 Mini Update
We’re finishing off the Summer of 2025 with some small changes that’ll make a big impact! Following our design changes from earlier in the summer, adding more tabs and quick filters to the Home & Explore pages, this rounds everything out nicely. All of these updates are directly from your feedback, requests, and suggestions – we couldn’t do it without your input!
New Features
- Disable comments on listings: Sellers can now choose to disable comments on a listing. This can be toggled when creating or editing a post. This was a highly requested feature to prevent trolls in comments.
- Toggle Price Drop Alerts in notifications: The ability to turn on/off Price Drop notifications has been added to the in-app notification settings. These notifications are sent when a Liked Post has a decrease in Price over a certain amount. Go to your Account Settings via Profile → Notification Preferences to enable or disable these for your account.
Quality-of-Life Improvements
- Search Bar on Categories: When selecting a category of item, there is now a search bar to quickly find what you’re looking for. As the only Filter section with nested tiers, this was long overdue. Categories are very important for discovery, so accuracy is important.
- Search results focus more on Title and Categories than description.
- Home Page FYP Feeds: The new Recent feed is now the default feed and was shifted to the first position. This feed shows the newest posts in order with no filters. Switch to FYP for personalized results, Following to see your followers posts, or NFS for social browsing.
- FYP variety: Increased variety of new and recent pieces in the FYP algorithm to improve variety.
- Shipping groundwork: We started laying the foundation for in-app labels and insurance.
Bug Fixes and Cleanup
- Blocked users’ no longer appear in the FYP algorithm.
- Content from banned users is removed or hidden, including conversations.
- Apple Pay 403 errors were resolved.
- Shipping Problem flags no longer trigger incorrectly.
