GlassPass Community Guidelines
- ONLY Glass Art is permitted. All glass must be clean. NO TOBACCO, NICOTINE, OR CANNABIS PRODUCTS ALLOWED. No illegal items or non-glass related items allowed. Refer to our Prohibited Items List for more details.
- Be positive & friendly. Our community is all inclusive & welcoming, not discriminatory.
- Respect others. GlassPass has no tolerance for racism, sexism, threats, abusive remarks, or discriminatory comments or messages of any kind. Offensive and/or aggressive messages/comments made towards other users may result in a ban. Spamming is not tolerated.
- No offensive material. No trolling. No threatening. No spamming. No scamming. No fraud. No impersonating others. No buying/selling or talking about drugs or drug paraphernalia.
- No posts of screenshots or DMs with other users from any platform. If you have an issue with another user, DM @support. These posts will be removed.
- No non-glass related items, including but not limited to, electronics, video games, shoes, watches, and/or computers). Clothes or other accessories by glass related artists are OK.
Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in a ban.
Rules for using GlassPass
- All users and site visitors must be over the age of twenty-one (21). If you are not 21, leave this site or app immediately. Any user or visitor under the age of 21 is prohibited.
- No cannabis, tobacco products, nicotine, firearms, weapons of any kind, or other drug-related content is permitted on GlassPass. Items on GlassPass are solely glass art or other art products.
- There should be at least one image of every item being sold (ex: beaker, downstem, bowl, clip, etc). Use natural light and a high quality camera when possible.
- No silicone, metal, acrylic, or counterfeit products are allowed. No items unrelated to glass, glass artists, or glassblowing.
- No electronics, including but not limited to, video game consoles, computers, TVs, battery operated devices, etc. No shoes, watches, clothes, or apparel unrelated to glass art.
- All items MUST be 100% clean when posted, photographed, and shipped. No exceptions. This includes any and all accessories shown in the photos, and/or included in the sale. Multiple violations of this rule on GlassPass will result in a ban from our services.
- Buyers MUST record a full unaltered unboxing video, beginning before the item is opened, for evidentiary purposes. If the box or condition of the box in the unboxing video does not match the photos taken by the seller, a further investigation will ensue and may result in no refund being made. If the full and complete unboxing video is absent, there exists no legitimate evidence to make any claims on an item’s condition upon arrival. If a buyer does not have an unboxing video, the buyer cannot request or be able to return, exchange, or receive a refund for the item on the basis of claiming a defective product, unless the Seller agrees to a refund. Any suspicions that the Unboxing Video was altered or edited in any way, as determined by the GlassPass team at their sole discretion, may result in the nullification and voidance of an Unboxing Video. Anything else is the responsibility of the seller, or for the two to determine with GlassPass. GlassPass reserves the right to make the final decision in any dispute. - All defects on an item (chips, knicks, stains, bloom, cracks, repairs, alterations, etc.) must be stated in the description and clearly visible in pictures. Any undisclosed flaws may subject the seller to penalties, allowing Buyer to open a Dispute and request a full or partial refund.
- Buyers only can make an offer if they are ready to pay upon Seller’s acceptance of the offer. Buyers only can make a bid if they are ready to pay upon winning the auction. Buyers only can “Buy it Now” if they are ready to pay immediately. All offers, bids, and BINs require payment information to be entered before they can be submitted. Failure to complete payment, or backing out of a transaction after payment was completed, will result in monetary penalties, such as withholding the transaction fees.
- Buyer Offers expire after 24 hours if the Seller does not accept. No payment is required.
- Sellers must package an item with sufficient protection following our Shipping Guide. All items must be 100% clean. It’s required to use peanuts, multiple layers of bubble wrap, and to double-box the item if shipped in a hard case. In order to uphold the highest standards and to prevent scams, sellers are not paid until the item arrives at the buyer’s address safely, unless they’re a Trusted Seller. If the item arrives as described in the listing, the seller will be paid 24 hours after delivery or when the buyer marks the item as safe, whichever is first. The Buyer has 24 hours after receiving the item to open a dispute, or funds will be sent to the Seller
- Sellers must record the packaging process of the item, with photos to document the manner in which the item was packed, for the strongest Seller protection.
- Sellers must ship within 5 business days of the buyer submitting payment to GlassPass. After 5 business days, Buyers are eligible to request a refund, unless both parties agree otherwise.
- Sellers must purchase shipping insurance in the event of a lost package. GlassPass isn’t responsible for lost packages.
- Sellers must require a signature to ensure safe delivery to the buyer. WIthout a signature, GlassPass can’t confirm delivery of the item.
Following all of these steps will ensure your transaction is 100% protected.
