THE GLASSPASS MILLE CHALLENGE
This is the first GlassPass murrine ever created, and our very first competition. Every participating Glass Artist gets a piece of it. You turn it into something of your own, the community votes, and five winners take home prizes.
At the end of the competition, all available pieces will be released for sale on GlassPass. Cash prizes and sales are paid out through our payout provider Dots. For more information, please see our FAQs below or contact [email protected] for assistance.

HOW TO ENTER
Step 1: Use the GlassPass mille to make any kind of glass piece. It can be functional or non-functional, in any style or form.
Step 2: Take photos or a video. Good images matter. This is what voters will see.
Step 3: Create your GlassPass account, complete with a profile picture and bio.
Step 4: Submit your entry by Posting it to the GlassPass app: Follow the step by step instructions below! All entries must be scheduled for November 20th @ 11:00am PST!
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING A POST
It takes ~5-10 minutes if it’s your first time. We’re happy to help walk you through it too!
- Tap the green “+” button to create a post.
- Reminder: you can save drafts!
- Screen 1: Listing Type
- Select For Sale. Do not select Auction or Not For Sale!
- Screen 2: Post Details
- Upload images/videos, 10 maximum. 4:3 ratio.
- Title: You can write anything, just include the word “Competition” anywhere in your title
- Description: You can write anything, just include the word “Competition” anywhere in your description. We recommend including as much detail and backstory as possible to engage the audience!
- Screen 3: Category & Tags
- Category: select the category that is most relevant to the type of piece you created. This is how all items are sorted on GlassPass.
- If we’re missing something, please let us know asap!
- Artist/Brand: search for yourself!
- If your name isn’t there, skip this for now & let us know asap and we’ll add you!
- Every other tag is optional. Please let us know if we’re missing anything!
- Screen 4: Pricing
- Buy it Now: Optional. This will allow users to purchase your listing immediately when the voting period ends, based on the price you set.
- Allow Offers: Optional. This will allow users to send you offers on your listing once the voting period ends. You do not have to display a price to hear offers.
- Shipping Cost: The price buyers pay extra for shipping. Free shipping = 0.
- Quantity: Leave Off. Only 1 entry per artist!

WHAT YOU NEED BEFORE YOU ENTER
- A GlassPass account with completed profile.
- Verified name & phone number, which creates your payout account so we can pay you if you win, or if your piece sells after the contest. We use ‘Dots’ for payouts.
- The ability to ship your piece if it sells. (If you want to sell it)
TIPS FOR STANDING OUT
- Submit early. You can post before October 30th, so there is no reason to wait for the last day. Entries will be available for viewing the week before the voting period begins.
- Make your listing look great. Clear photos, a strong cover image, and a good description all help. Make sure it’s scheduled for 11/20/2026 @ 11am PST!
- Promote it. Share your listing on your own channels. Voting is open to every GlassPass user, so the more people see your piece, the more votes it can get. Tag @GlassPass on Instagram and we will share it.
FAQs
Who can enter?
Any Glass Artist who received a piece of the GP mille at Puffcon 2026.
Can I get a mille if I did not receive one at Puffcon?
Yes. GlassPass can send one to you for free. However, there are a limited number of mille available. When we are out of mille, more will not become available.
Does my piece have to be functional?
No. Functional and non-functional pieces are both welcome. Any style of your choosing!
Do I have to use the GlassPass mille in my entry?
Yes, this is a requirement to enter the competition. Any entry that does not include the mille will not be eligible for voting.
How do I submit my entry?
Post your piece to GlassPass as a ‘For Sale’ listing with photos or video and your price (if desired), then schedule it to release on November 20th at 11:00am PST.
What title, description, and tags should I put on my listing?
- Title: you choose, but please include the word “competition”
- Description: any, but please include the word “competition”
- Category/tags: only category is required ( whatever the piece actually is). We will add a “mille competition” tag manually before voting begins.
- Price: your choice - you can edit this later if needed
- Schedule: Friday, November 20th, 2026 @ 11:00am PST
Why do I have to schedule my listing for November 20th?
Voting ends on November 20th, and this is when entries will be available for purchase, which is why you should schedule for November 20th. This may sound backwards, but our system will ensure all entries will go live for voting at the correct date. Please do not schedule your listing to release before or after November 20th at 11:00am PST.
What is the deadline?
Friday, October 30th. Finish and schedule your listing by then so it is live when voting opens.
Can I submit my entry after the October 30th deadline?
Yes. However, submitting your entry by the deadline will help the GlassPass ensure all requirements have been met and offer support to any artists who might need it.
Can I submit my entry after voting has started on November 6th?
Yes, but please coordinate this with GlassPass support. A late entry may reduce your chances to receive votes.
Do I need a GlassPass account?
Yes. All artists and voters need a GlassPass account to participate. Your entry has to be posted from your own GlassPass account.
Who can vote?
Every GlassPass user with an account. Only one account per person is allowed.
How does voting work?
A new section on GlassPass will be displayed on the front page of the GlassPass app and website. GlassPass users with an account will vote on the pieces they want to support. There is no limit on how many pieces a person can vote for, but each account gets one vote per piece.
When does voting happen?
From Friday, November 6th to Friday, November 20th.
How are winners chosen?
By the community vote. There are five winners.
How are ties handled?
Tied artists combine the prizes for the places they occupy and split them evenly. The next artist drops to the next open place.
Can I promote my own entry?
Yes, and we encourage it! Share your listing anywhere you like. Feel free to tag @GlassPass on Instagram and we will share your post.
What happens to my piece after the competition?
At the end of voting, on Friday, November 20th, all pieces go up for sale, and we will help you sell yours.
Do I have to list a price or sell my entry on GlassPass?
No, if you do not wish to sell your piece on GlassPass you do not have to set a price. Simply turn off the option to Allow users to “Buy it Now”. Doing so will turn on the option to ‘Allow Offers’, but you do not actually have to accept any offers either. The price or ‘Make Offer’ options (if set) will not be publicly visible until after voting has ended. We only require you to list it as ‘For Sale’ as this is part of how our system will detect your entry.
What if my piece sells?
You are responsible for shipping and fulfilling the order. You will be paid out via our payout provider Dots. Make sure you have set up your Dots account in advance to ensure a timely payout.
What is Dots, and why do I need it?
Dots is how we send prize payouts. If you place, you will need it set up to receive your prize, so it is best to get it ready before you enter. This is also how you will be paid if your entry sells.
How do I create my Dots account?
When you create your GlassPass account, you are automatically enrolled into Dots with your phone number.
How do I choose my payout method?
You set this up through our payout provider Dots. To do this, go to your GlassPass Profile > Click Account Settings > Click Manage Dots Account. You will be navigated to the Dots website at my.dots.dev where you will use your phone number to login. No password is needed - a verification code will be sent to your phone number. Choose which payment option you would like to use to receive your payment. That’s it! If you win prize money or your piece sells, your payout will be released to your Dots account.
