I created this piece to represent what it was like growing up during the 90s and 2000s with heavy diet culture around every corner.
The commercials to replace meals with bowls of cereal, yogurt that can make you thinner, and fad diets left and right.
The suffocating feeling of your own body being scrutinized by no one who had the right. The feeling of people watching your every move to please an unrealistic idea that everyone needs to be thin.
