American Lacewood Proxy Core cup

.This is America Lacewood ('Merican) it has a reptile belly-esc appearance and a pretty decent light shift. The side grain is reminiscent of a 🔥. It's glass smooth to the touch. - Wood has a wonderful and natural hand feel, is never too hot or too cold - Wood is pretty durable, it can dent and scrach when dropped but it won't shatter like glass and it might even look better, plus it can always be refinished ;) - Wood is relatively cheap, these aren't $300+ pieces of glass, though I would argue they are just as heady and every bit a piece of art - Glass is incredibly beautiful, but its also $$$ and potentially fragile. Im not taking a $350 Coopers Puffer camping or even out on a friday night - Aluminum cups always feel cold and industrial....
