Details
Sandblasted/carved/etched glass design
The design was drawn out onto a sandblasting vinyl on glass, the design cut with tiny knives to create a stencil then meticulously sandblasted. Lots of techniques to achieve the effects.
I love art nouveau/art deco and wanted to pay tribute with this recreation of the famous poster design.
30" x 22" including frame
The glass is set into a very high quality, custom made wood frame complete with a metal accent border along the inside that is ready for hanging.
This also has custom colored lighting...purple hue combined with a yellow up top that I created for the piece.
The light source is strips of LED lights powered by a 12V plug.
A black backing is installed behind the glass.
