The result of a glassblower running out of American made borosilicate and being forced to work with what he had on hand. This Chinese tubing was full of stones and inclusions and according to the artist "didn't feel like glass at all." He's not fond of the result, but I like it. Still...not a very patriotic piece of functional art. I recommend you buy only American made glass art. It's a truly American art form that's all our own and we need to support it every chance we get.
