This glass coral reef implosion pendant is made with a bunch of detail, to make you dream of the sea! I blow out a large, thin, clear bubble and pull down multiple strings of colored glass. I use different colors of glass and techniques to "paint" dots, reefs, spirals, and twists to create a bustling ocean reef. All colors are custom mixed for the reef pendants, and I make my own latticinio twists for the coral, some have thin strips of sparkled glass. After the scene is "painted" on the glass surface, it is very gently and slowly melted back into a solid glass puck.
