East Indian Rosewood Proxy Core #10

This is an incredible example of East Indian Rosewood. Its a very very dense wood that finishes like glass. This wood has a wild color shift with the light, but unlike most wood, it's not a chatoyance but rather a complete shift to black. Wood has a wonderful and natural hand feel, is never too hot or too cold - Wood is pretty durable, it can dent and scrach when dropped but it won't shatter like glass and it might even look better, plus it can always be refinished;) - Wood is relatively cheap, these aren't $300+ pieces of glass, though I would argue they are just as heady and every bit a piece of art - Glass is incredibly beautiful, but its also $$$ and potentially fragile.
