It all starts in the bottom chamber that houses a slitted showerhead percolator. The slits in the showerhead percolator split up the smoke and spread it into the water for the first round of filtration.
From there it moves upwards and encounters the second percolator, a triple showerhead dome in dome percolator. Each of the showerhead domes has slits that split up the smoke into smaller particles, increasing surface area, allowing the smoke to cool much more rapidly.
But it is not called royal for nothing, because thats not all, There is a third chamber with a 12-arm tree percolator that smoothens down the smoke to perfection.
