Hello my Fellow Glass Connoisseurs! Today we have here is the Second ever “MofoShip” design that Jay started making. Today it’s a very popular design that he puts out. Also a little Glass history lesson if you’re not familiar. Jay Osiris Blumkraft or JOB is one of the many Glass Artists that Tommy Chong used to employ before he was raided in 2003 for the DEAs “Operation Pipe Dreams” and “Headhunter”. Most of my glass collection are from these past Chong Artists. This particular piece is a spin off of one of the many styles Chong Glass used to put out. The original is called “The MotherShip” and I believe was Jays idea. Thus he created the “MofoShip” as a tribute type piece.
