"America's exotic wood" Yep this is kinda as wild as it gets in good ole N America. But it is honestly beautiful. It's dense and hard and just takes a shine like nothing else. - Finished with cold pressed hemp oil and my own wax blend, its beautiful, durable and easily brought to a mirror shine with a little buffing - Wood has a wonderful and natural hand feel, is never too hot or too cold - Wood is pretty durable, it can dent and scratch when dropped but it won't shatter like glass and it might even look better, plus it can always be refinished ;) - Wood is relatively cheap, these aren't $300+ pieces of glass, though I would argue they are just as heady and every bit a piece of art - Glass is incredibly beautiful, but...
