Absolutely mesmerizing coldworked pendant by Masataka Joei from his new "Poem of the Falling Star" series, with a beautiful Moon motif!
Each layer is sandblasted with an incredible intricacy, and then silver-plated using a technique taken from traditional Japanese art style called "Makie (蒔絵)" that originated from Ishikawa Prefecture, and then painstakingly polished and carefully layered to create a three-dimensional window with so much depth, it seems as if the pendant is a portal to another world.
