Early 2010s Pakoh "Was Here" signed 9" stand-up dry pipe from the artist's sought-after Spear Stab series. This sculptural piece features rich iridescent fuming with primitive cave art/petroglyph-inspired imagery wrapping the body. A faceted spear passes completely through the chamber, accented by Pakoh's signature hanging blood drop detail on the reverse. Sandblasted texture and balanced stand-up construction make this a striking display piece as well as a functional work of art. Measures approximately 9" tall with a 3.5" base. Signed "Pakoh Was Here" on the foot. In very nice pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs observed. Displays beautifully with strong color and excellent presence. A scarce and highly collectible example of Pakoh's imaginative early work, blending ancient-inspired imagery with one of his most recognizable themes.
