Spalted Maple Proxy Core cup #8

This cup is a beautiful example of how spalting can completely change the appearance of wood. This cup has a DIFFERENT SHAPE! It's very slightly tapered upwards to meet flush with the Proxy. The bottom has a sharp angle rather than a subtle curve. It's pretty dope and feels great on your pinky. - Finished with cold pressed hemp oil and my own wax blend, its beautiful, durable and easily brought to a mirror shine with a little buffing - Wood has a wonderful and natural hand feel, is never too hot or too cold - Wood is pretty durable, it can dent and scratch when dropped but it won't shatter like glass and it might even look better, plus it can always be refinished ;) - Wood is relatively cheap, these aren't $300+ pieces of glass, though I would...
