Around November we did some R&D for a ruby alternative to the original sapphire insert. Unpolished gets too dirty.
This one has more thickness to It for those who need something that won’t break as easily.
This does however change the heat curve slightly adding a bit of wait time on the heat up, but the upside is large dabbers have a buffer against the cooling effect of these massive globs.
I prefer this over the unpolished sapphire, but it’s more of a home use scenario due to battery life drainage.
Should we still put a few of these out in the market ? Works and fits better than my 3grams ceramic insert
