In the winter of 2009, I took my first soft glass blowing class at Foci MCGA in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I have to say, it blew my mind! I fell in love with everything about the art instantly. Renting time here and there, it quickly became my favorite hobby. After about five years of blowing soft glass, I was approached with the opportunity of learning the art of lamp working, which is a completely different way of working with glass. I jumped into this determined to learn as much as possible about this new way (to me) of blowing glass. After a few months of practice, I got a job lamp working for a production company in Minneapolis. In 2016, I decided to branch off on my own. Since then, I'm living my dream of running my very own successful glass company.
