GlassPass App Updates: May 2026 - Faster Video Uploads, 10 Min Video Chat, & Bug Fixes

What's New on GlassPass

This update is mainly bug fixes and improvements following our major website functionality update from last month. A lot of these came from your reports so we appreciate you flagging stuff when you see it! We also snuck in two big video upgrades worth knowing about.

Video Uploads are 3.5x Faster

We reworked how video uploads are processed and they're now 3.5x faster. Both when making listings, and when sending videos in messages. Our goal is to keep making GlassPass more social while we continue to add more marketplace features. More on this to come!

Send Videos Up to 10 Minutes in Chat

This is a big one. Previously the video limit in chat messages was 10 seconds or 200mb, which was very restrictive. Most function videos are more than 10 seconds, so you had to clip the video to send it in multiple parts, which was frustrating. Now you can send videos up to 10 minutes long directly in GlassPass chat. No more app-hopping just to show someone how a piece works! More messaging improvements to come.

Bug Fixes

All of the following bugs have been fixed.

Swiping back right after publishing a post could create a duplicate listing.
Some users were hitting a shipping quote error that blocked them from placing bids.
Editing Puffco device posts was showing a "shipping unavailable" error even when shipping was set up correctly.
Opening a saved draft and then creating a new post would carry over old data instead of starting fresh.
Backing out of a For Sale post would reopen the draft instead of actually closing it.
The keyboard was covering the bio field on Edit Profile on some devices.
Double tapping the back button during lag could freeze navigation.
The "See More" button on long listing descriptions wasn't expanding.
Tapping on a user's follower count wasn't doing anything. Now it opens the followers list like it should.
You couldn't disable GlassPass Shipping Labels on a post after enabling it. Now you can toggle it off.
Boosted Posts icon indicator wasn't showing up on miniposts.
Tapping a seller's rating on web was returning a 404.
And a bunch of other various fixes.
